Located in the heart of the buzzing entertainment precinct in the Como Centre, right of the famous Chapel Street, you’ll find the best parking at the Como Centre. Parking is also available at The Colonnade, which validates parking if you’re combining dinner with a movie at the nearby Palace Cinemas. The South Yarra train station is only a short 6-minute walk away. Perfect for post-sporting celebrations, you’ll find The Meat & Wine Co South Yarra is only 15 minutes from the Albert Park F1 Circuit or 10 minutes from the MCG, Melbourne & Olympic Park complexes. 

Service & Surcharge

A 10% service charge applies to all bookings of 11 or more guests and is distributed to our wait staff as a gratuity for their service. On Sundays and public holidays, a surcharge of $5 per person applies – except when the service charge is in effect. Additional fees may apply to all card transactions, with rates varying by card type and payment method. Please note, third-party processing fees (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, or in-store terminals) are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

There’s no shortage of South Yarra restaurants to choose from, but when it comes to planning a private party or work function, you want to make sure the venue is perfect for the occasion.

At The Meat & Wine Co South Yarra, we have two stylish private dining rooms available for up to 14 guests, as well as a private function area to accommodate up to 34 seated guests with a canapé menu. Buffalo Room

Buffalo Room is a private dining room ideal for groups of 10-12 people. It seats 12, and can accommodate 12 standing guests. The space measures 18 square metres, offering a comfortable setting for private bookings. Table setup includes a long table. Natural light filters through the windows, giving the room a bright and open feel. It’s also suitable for presentations or speeches. A TV is available for media or visual needs. Speakers are built into the space, with adjustable volume. Air conditioning is provided with personal control. A cloak room is also available for convenience.
